It’s 1967, the summer of love in Edmonton and 15 year-old Sonja Pfeiffer has snagged her dream job slinging root beer at the local A&W. Determined to find her first true love, Sonja can barely believe her luck when sexy, seductive Alexander, in his red Camaro, asks her out. With best girlfriend Audrey dishing up saccharine theories of destiny and romance and new best-friend, Dagmar, serving up the caustic philosophy of Ayn Rand, Sonja discovers that cracking the code of a grown-up world is infinitely more complicated than anything she could have imagined.
