This is part of a series of photographic books published in association with Rex Features, Britain’s leading independent picture library. Jimi Hendrix revolutionised rock music with his flamboyant style and breathtaking musicianship. This book highlights some of the greatest photos of Jimi Hendrix and his bandmates, Mitch Mitchell and Noel Redding, taken during 1967. As well as publicity sessions and candid backstage shots, there are pictures of Hendrix with contemporaries Eric Clapton and Pete Townshend, and a revealing look at the recording of the second Experience album, Axis: Bold As Love.
