POET ASSASSIN

the poet & the poem

Poet Assassin invites you, or rather demands you, to unearth your soul’s cravings. Mieke’s feral lines illuminate fragments of an immemorial trail. With a pulsing rhythm, her words convoke us for an excavation of the collective psyche.

Mieke’s dense and ethereal poetry and her intricate inner blueprint, her cross-dimensional wanderings have shape shifted through the easthetic hands of La Garçon, the artist adentity of Truus Druyts. Words transmuted into perishable clay. Entire worlds configured in androgynous mythological figures.

A mesmerizing interflow of art forms.

Mieke Jacobs (Belgium) is a poet, writer, storyteller, sculptor, coach, leadership facilitator and systemic teacher. Above all she is a wanderer, pilgrim, wisdom seeker, comtemplator and soul seacher.
